Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Civil Rights Advocate to champion social justice in Pretoria. You will engage with communities, support advocacy efforts, and work collaboratively to address civil rights violations. If you are passionate about making a difference, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with community members to identify civil rights issues.
  • Draft policy recommendations to improve civil rights laws.
  • Network with other civil rights groups to share resources and strategies.
  • Conduct advocacy research to support initiatives.
  • Develop educational materials to raise awareness about civil rights.
  • Support individuals in filing complaints related to civil rights violations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Law, or a related discipline
  • Master's in Social Work or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in civil rights advocacy or related field
