We are looking for a compassionate Veterinary Surgeon who is dedicated to enhancing the lives of animals in Durban. You will be responsible for diagnosing illnesses, performing surgeries, and ensuring the overall health and wellbeing of our patients. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health evaluations.
• Deliver excellent customer service to pet owners.
• Oversee the cleanliness and compliance of the clinic environment.
• Collaborate with specialists for complex cases.
• Manage staff scheduling and workload.
• Drive initiatives for clinic growth and community health.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss cases and strategies.
• Engage in client follow-ups for treatment compliance.
• Support fundraising efforts for local animal charities.
• Establish a referral network with other veterinary services.

Requirements

Education

• Veterinary Science Degree from an accredited institution
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in veterinary practice
