Job Description

The Earth Moving Technician plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery essential for construction and earth-moving operations. You'll ensure the safety and proper functioning of equipment such as excavators, loaders, and bulldozers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment like excavators and bulldozers.
• Diagnose and resolve machinery issues in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety standards while performing maintenance tasks.
• Document all service and repair work accurately.
• Inspect machinery for safety and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding equipment status.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade certification in diesel mechanics, heavy machinery, or a related field
• Valid driver's license

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in maintaining and repairing earth-moving machinery
