Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Bloemfontein office. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing engineering projects from conception through to execution, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. You’ll be working on a variety of exciting infrastructure projects, contributing to the development of key community facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction projects such as roads, bridges, and municipal works.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Collaborate with architects and urban planners for project integration.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in civil projects, experience in managing teams is advantageous
