Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Bloemfontein office. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing engineering projects from conception through to execution, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. You’ll be working on a variety of exciting infrastructure projects, contributing to the development of key community facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise engineering plans using CAD software.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients during project scope discussions.
• Review and approve contractor work and claims.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress with all stakeholders.
• Develop long-term plans for infrastructure development within a designated area.
• Collaborate with environmental specialists on sustainability practices.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in civil projects, experience in managing teams is advantageous
