Job Description

As a Municipal Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and overseeing city infrastructure projects. This role requires a solid understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to manage diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Conduct site inspections and assess the performance of infrastructure projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs and reports for submission to regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with architects, city planners, and environmental consultants.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety standards during project execution.
• Explore and implement innovative engineering solutions to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with government agencies for project approvals and permits.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Review and approve specifications and plans from contractors.
• Stay updated with the latest engineering technologies and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years working in civil or municipal engineering roles

Certifications

• ECSA Registration as a Professional Engineer
