Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Fleet Operations Specialist to oversee and enhance our fleet operations. This role involves managing daily fleet activities, ensuring optimal performance, and implementing operational improvements to ensure maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of fleet operations including vehicle procurement and disposal.
• Coordinate with mechanics and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet expenses, repairs, and servicing.
• Identify and mitigate risk factors related to fleet management.
• Utilize fleet management software for real-time tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop fleet strategy and policies.
• Monitor fuel consumption and develop strategies to improve fuel efficiency.
• Ensure all fleet vehicles meet safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Engage with the customer service team to address service issues.
• Drive initiatives for cost reduction without compromising service quality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation or Supply Chain Management
• Professional certifications in fleet operations are recommended

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the transportation industry, with a focus on fleet operations
