Grounds Foreman

Job Description

As a Grounds Foreman, you will oversee the maintenance and management of various properties' landscapes. You will lead a skilled team of groundskeepers, schedule maintenance activities, and ensure that all outdoor areas are kept to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in maintaining lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas.
• Ensure all work is completed to schedule and budget.
• Perform detailed inspections and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Promote a positive and productive work environment.
• Stay updated on the latest landscaping techniques and regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers for materials needed.
• Assist with planning and executing landscape projects.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Diploma or degree in horticulture or landscaping is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in landscaping and grounds maintenance with significant supervisory experience.

• Irrigation Systems Knowledge
