We are looking for an Environmental Consultant to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. You will work on assessing environmental impacts, conducting field surveys, and preparing comprehensive reports to guide our clients in their environmental responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and projects from conception to completion.
• Advise clients on best practices for environmental management.
• Prepare grant proposals and funding applications for environmental initiatives.
• Foster relationships with governmental and regulatory agencies.
• Analyze data to recommend improvements in environmental performance.
• Coordinate with environmental specialists and contractors.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental assessments and consulting
