Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve their goals and improve their daily functioning. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and implement interventions tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs through interviews, observations, and standardized assessments.
• Design and implement goal-oriented treatment plans that align with clients' objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and group sessions to promote therapeutic practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic client care.
• Provide support and guidance to clients and families throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Advanced Occupational Therapy Certification
• Pediatric Therapy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Volunteer experience in community health: Experience in community service or outreach programs related to health.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
