DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer in our Cape Town office, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations. You will implement automation tools, manage cloud services, and promote a culture of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), making a significant impact on our project delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts for automation and process improvements.
• Maintain and support cloud-based services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for systems integration.
• Provide support for production applications and resolve outages.
• Establish monitoring and alerting for critical systems.
• Review code for best practices and effectiveness.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps practices
