SEO Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an SEO Specialist who can take our online visibility to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices, alongside a creative flair for content creation. This role involves developing strategies to improve organic search rankings and driving more traffic to our clients' websites.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Generate weekly and monthly performance reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze competitors' SEO strategies and recommend adjustments to our approach.
• Manage and execute local SEO strategies to enhance visibility in Cape Town and surrounding areas.
• Create SEO-friendly content briefs for writers.
• Work closely with the PPC team to optimize paid search efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Additional SEO certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in SEO and digital marketing

Technical Skills

• SEO Tools (e.g. Google Analytics, SEMrush)
• Content Management Systems (CMS)

Certifications

• Google Analytics Certification
• SEO Certification from a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent
