Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Speech Therapist to join our Durban team. This position involves evaluating patients with speech and language disorders, designing bespoke therapy plans, and delivering therapy sessions in a friendly and engaging manner. You'll contribute significantly to the rehabilitation journey of our clients, guiding them towards improved communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in a diverse population.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct therapy sessions effectively while encouraging client engagement.
• Collaborate with other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Keep accurate records of client assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Educate clients and families on strategies for improving communication skills.
• Research and apply new therapeutic techniques and tools in practice.
• Network within the community to raise awareness about communication disorders.
• Mentor junior therapists and supervise students during internships.
