Job Description

We are currently seeking an Environmental Impact Consultant to be part of our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will focus on assessing the ecological impacts of development projects and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will play a crucial role in advising clients on best practices for sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments and prepare necessary documentation.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement to communicate assessment findings.
• Develop strategies for minimizing negative environmental impacts.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate project conditions.
• Help train clients on environmental compliance and sustainability practices.
• Review project plans to ensure alignment with environmental policies.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive project success.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in environmental consulting or related roles
