Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Event Planner to join our vibrant team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating unforgettable events, from weddings to corporate functions. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from inception to execution.

Responsibilities

  • Design event concepts based on client objectives and budgets.
  • Implement event timelines to ensure timely execution of all activity.
  • Engage and manage vendors, ensuring they deliver quality services as agreed.
  • Attend and oversee events to ensure adherence to client expectations and standards.
  • Present post-event reports that outline successes and areas for improvement.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or similar field
  • Event Planning certification preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing events from start to finish

Certifications
  • Event Planning Certificate from a recognized institution
Languages
  • English: Fluent
