ER Paramedic

Job Description

An ER Paramedic is responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in the emergency room. They must be able to evaluate and treat patients quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency medical calls and provide appropriate care.
• Triage patients based on their medical needs and urgency.
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff regarding patient status.
• Participate in ongoing training and skills enhancement programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Valid certification as a Paramedic
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-pressure medical environment.
