Job Description

General Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and handling materials throughout our facility. You will play a vital role in the efficiency of our production process.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts for moving materials throughout the facility.
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Train new employees on forklift operation and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
• Contribute to a safe working environment by complying with safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience as a forklift operator in manufacturing or warehousing

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
• Health and Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automated forklift systems: Knowledge of operating and maintaining automated forklifts.
• First Aid Certification: Certification in first aid would be advantageous.
