Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to become a vital part of our healthcare team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing treatments, ensuring that you adhere to the highest standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor patients' responses and progress.
• Provide education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Ensure all nursing documentation is accurate, complete, and current.
• Coordinate patient discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Administer vaccinations and perform diagnostic tests as needed.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster a supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Advanced Practice Nurse License is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience with a focus on patient care in diverse settings

Technical Skills

• Intravenous Therapy

Certifications

• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
