Job Description

As a Financial Accountant in our company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and preparing budgets. Your expertise will ensure compliance with South African accounting standards while supporting sound financial management practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations.
• Analyze budget variances and report findings to management.
• Monitor financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities.
• Assist in the development of financial policies and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Maintain an understanding of accounting principles and updates.
• Ensure timely submission of financial documents and reports.
• Handle payroll reconciliations and assist with payroll processing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA) is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks)
