Telecommunications Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to enhance our network capabilities and improve our service offerings. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and managing telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and upgrade existing telecommunications networks to enhance performance.
• Perform analysis and troubleshooting of wireless and wired networks.
• Work with the IT department to ensure network security.
• Monitor network performance and conduct regular routine maintenance.
• Test and evaluate new telecommunications technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
• Develop project plans for network installations and upgrades.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications

• Network Design
• Telecom Equipment Configuration

Certifications

• CompTIA Network+
• Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SDN and NFV: Hands-on experience with Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization.
• Skill in VoIP technologies: Advanced knowledge of Voice over IP telephony systems.
