Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and disorders in animals.
• Perform surgeries with precision and skill.
• Administer medications and vaccinations.
• Provide emergency care when required.

• Participate in staff training and development programs.
• Educate clients about preventive care and general pet health.
• Maintain clean and safe facilities according to regulations.
• Contribute to the veterinary clinic’s marketing and outreach efforts.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinic operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Registration with the Veterinary Council of South Africa

Experience

• Registered Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience.
