Responsibilities

• Research and apply cybersecurity best practices.
• Manage security tools and technology including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Assist in compliance audits to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate response and recovery efforts in the event of a cybersecurity incident.
• Work closely with the IT department to secure all endpoints.
• Analyse security logs to detect patterns indicating attacks.
• Create documentation for security technologies and processes.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with GDPR and other privacy laws: Understanding legal frameworks and regulations surrounding data privacy.
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash): Ability to write scripts for automation of security tasks.
