As an Insurance Underwriter, you will use your expertise to analyze insurance applications and evaluate risk factors. Responsibilities

• Review and approve new insurance applications and renewals.

• Track and analyze market trends to inform underwriting strategy.
• Manage underwriting files to ensure complete and accurate records.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop competitive pricing strategies.
• Assist with audits and regulatory inspections related to underwriting practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
• Relevant insurance certifications preferred (e.g., AINS, AIS)

Experience

• 5+ years of underwriting experience preferably in personal or commercial lines

Technical Skills

• Underwriting Software Proficiency

Certifications

• CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor)
• CEG (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist)

Languages
