Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Quality Assurance Lead to oversee our projects in Johannesburg. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction work meets the required quality standards, regulations, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and control within the construction industry, combined with leadership skills to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement quality assurance programs across all projects.
• Perform audits on construction methods and processes.
• Manage quality control inspections and reporting.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to review specifications.
• Investigate and resolve quality-related complaints.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors as required.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quality performance.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Populate lessons learned and ensure continual learning on all projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
• Professional registration as a Construction Manager is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in heavy construction quality assurance
