Job Description

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes. You will also build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations while troubleshooting and resolving issues in our development, test, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infrastructure health and manage capacity planning.
• Provide support for application deployment and configuration.
• Collaborate on coding standards and best practices within teams.
• Implement compliance and audit practices within the DevOps process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT-related field
• Advanced degrees are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering roles

Technical Skills

• CI/CD Tools
• Scripting

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in multi-cloud environments: Proficient with Azure and GCP alongside AWS.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools: Experience with tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
