As a Structural Design Consultant at our Sandton office, you will play a critical role in designing and assessing structural integrity. Collaborating with architects and clients, your input will be integral to project success, ensuring safety and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Create structural designs using advanced modelling software.
• Conduct load and stress analyses to inform design decisions.
• Attend client meetings to understand project requirements.
• Foster relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Ensure adherence to legal regulations and standards.
• Review technical drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead discussions on project feasibility and design options.
• Prepare bid proposals and project budgets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in structural design engineering

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis
• Revit

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent
