Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Grinding and Polishing Worker to enhance our surface finishing team. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our high-quality standards throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Polish and smooth surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized polishing equipment.
• Inspect and assess surfaces for imperfections and determine appropriate polishing methods.
• Prepare surfaces for polishing by cleaning, sanding, or applying appropriate chemicals.
• Apply polishing compounds or materials and operate polishing machines to achieve desired finish.
• Monitor and maintain polishing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear to minimize risks.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain records of completed projects and materials used.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of polishing tools and equipment.
• Continuously improve polishing techniques and stay updated with industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Certification or diploma in polishing or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience with various materials such as metal, wood, or stone is a plus

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of surface finishing techniques
• Experience operating additional machinery/tools

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
