Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to contribute to our expanding portfolio of projects in Durban. You will be involved in site inspections, preparing detailed reports, and working with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within budget and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and apply findings to project design.
  • Manage contracts with external vendors and consultants.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to remain current with industry trends.
  • Implement project management practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Document technical specifications for all projects.
  • Interface with local communities to address concerns regarding projects.
  • Analyze project data to inform decision-making processes.
  • Prepare bids and proposals for new projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of environmental impact assessments.
  • Leverage new technologies to improve project outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on infrastructure projects
