Job Description

As an Extension Work Instructor, you will play a vital role in empowering rural communities by facilitating training programs that focus on sustainable agriculture, natural resource management, and community development initiatives. Your work will have a direct impact on improving livelihoods and promoting environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workshops and training sessions on sustainable practices to community groups.
  • Assess community needs and adapt training programs accordingly.
  • Engage with local farmers to encourage the adoption of sustainable agricultural methods.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities for community members with relevant stakeholders.
  • Compile and analyse data on project outcomes and community feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Agriculture, Community Development, or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience in fundraising and proposal writing is a plus

Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Setswana: Conversational
