Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The successful applicant will focus on the HR Generalist functions, helping organizations to manage their human resources effectively. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, innovative problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of HR practices in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between management and employees.
• Design and implement employee recognition programs.
• Support succession planning and workforce management.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback.
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR issues.
• Perform other HR-related duties as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Psychology
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in various HR functions

Technical Skills

• Employee Relations Management
• Training Development

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Decision Making

Certifications

• SHRM-CP or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certificate in Employment Law: Knowledge of employment law would be beneficial in this role.
