Facilities Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and management of our buildings and facilities in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our infrastructure is well-maintained, safe, and efficient, while also implementing strategies to improve overall functionality.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the facility to enhance productivity.
• Ensure the facility is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Respond to emergencies and manage crises as they arise.
• Conduct staff training on health and safety protocols.
• Evaluate facility performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback on facility operations.
• Oversee the management of contracts with external service providers.
• Foster a positive work environment for all facility staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Master's degree is highly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in facilities or construction management

Languages
