Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backhoe Operator to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating backhoe equipment to perform excavation and construction tasks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize backhoe machinery for digging, lifting, and grading materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations during operations.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and keep equipment in good working order.
• Assist in site preparation and cleanup activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhere to all construction plans and specifications.
• Maintain communication with the site manager regarding project status.
• Document daily work activities and equipment usage.
• Support the team in achieving project goals efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum of Grade 12

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating backhoe equipment.
