Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Field Researcher to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for executing research projects in various communities, gathering critical data, and contributing to meaningful insights that drive change. Your work will directly impact social development initiatives and policy-making.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute field research activities in various communities in Port Elizabeth.
  • Collaborate with other researchers to enhance the quality of data collection.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing research findings and suggested actions.
  • Engage in outreach to further promote the project and its goals.
  • Regularly update project stakeholders on progress and challenges.
  • Effectively communicate findings to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community-based research or social impact projects
