Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Pet Groomer to join our team in Durban. Ideal candidates should have experience in grooming dogs and cats, a love for animals, and excellent customer service skills. You'll be responsible for bathing, trimming, and styling pets to meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and safety of pets during grooming sessions.
• Learn new grooming techniques and styles.
• Provide a calm and friendly atmosphere for pets and their owners.
• Manage appointment schedules efficiently.
• Respond to customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism.
• Contribute to social media content showcasing pets and their hairstyles.
• Help train junior staff or apprentices in grooming techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in grooming preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in grooming pets

Technical Skills

• Animal Behavior Knowledge
• Grooming Equipment Proficiency

Certifications

• Grooming Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
