Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Complete Garment Overlock Machine Operator, where you will be tasked with producing high-quality garments. You'll operate various overlock machines and collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on overlock machines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues quickly.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement adjustments for new garment styles.
• Validate fabric and materials before production starts.
• Support inventory management by tracking materials used and required.
• Respond to urgent production requests as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical training in industrial sewing or textile technology is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in garment production and machine operation

Technical Skills

• Fabric handling
• Pattern-making knowledge

• Analytical thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in other areas of garment production such as cutting and sewing: Hands-on experience in various roles within the garment production process.
