Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health conditions, providing preventive care, and conducting surgeries. With a strong focus on client education, you'll work closely with pet owners to ensure the best care for their animals. A love for animals and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging.
  • Administer treatment including medication and vaccinations.
  • Conduct examinations and assessments on animals.
  • Collaborate with specialists for complex cases.
  • Implement clinic policies for safety and sanitation.
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 2 years of practice experience
