Urban Planner

Job Description

As an Urban Planner, you will play an essential role in evaluating land-use proposals and ensuring compliance with zoning regulations. Your expertise will help guide effective spatial planning and contribute to the development of urban spaces that enhance community wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive urban plans that enhance community livability.
• Work with diverse stakeholders, including governmental departments and local communities.
• Review and evaluate development proposals for compliance with planning policies.
• Prepare and present project documentation for various stakeholders.
• Utilize GIS software for planning and analysis of urban areas.
• Monitor project progression and ensure timely completion.
• Advise on environmental impact assessments related to urban projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in urban planning or a related field
