Paver Layer

Job Description

The Paver Layer will work with a team to install and maintain various types of paving on commercial and residential properties. You will ensure that the paving is installed safely, accurately, and according to industry standards. Your role will involve preparing surfaces, laying paving, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install pavers and hardscape materials according to design specifications.
• Inspect and prepare the site for installation.
• Operate hand and power tools skillfully and safely.
• Assist with material selection and design aspects of landscaping projects.
• Communicate progress and any issues to supervisors and team members.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent
• Formal training or apprenticeship in paving or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in paving or similar role.

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Driver's license and own transport: Essential for travelling to various job sites.
