Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Auditor to join our finance team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of audit principles and practices, and be able to assess financial reports for accuracy and compliance. As an Auditor, you will contribute to our mission of ensuring transparency and accountability in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments to prioritize audit activities.
• Evaluate internal controls and develop strategies for enhancement.
• Assist clients in implementing changes to comply with audit findings.
• Provide training and guidance to junior auditors.
• Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification (e.g., CA(SA) or ACCA) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in auditing or accounting roles

Technical Skills

• Financial Analysis
• Accounting Software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks)

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Auditor (CA(SA) or ACCA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with tax compliance and regulations: Familiarity with local tax laws and auditing standards.
