Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Durban office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting strategic financial planning. You will contribute to key financial decisions and help drive the company's financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate profitability of projects and investments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed budget analyses.
• Support senior management in strategic budget planning.
• Conduct market analyses to identify trends impacting the company's financial health.
• Collaborate with accounting for accurate financial reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Provide support for mergers and acquisitions as needed.
• Monitor financial compliance and internal controls.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
• MBA or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a financial analyst role or equivalent experience

• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
