Job Description

As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in connecting with local communities, identifying their needs, and implementing outreach programs that make a significant impact. You will work closely with various stakeholders to drive initiatives that foster community engagement and development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach activities and workshops in various community settings.
• Create promotional materials to raise awareness about programs.
• Advocate for community needs and liaise with government and local organizations.
• Assist in the development of funding proposals to support outreach efforts.
• Evaluate program outcomes and suggest improvements.
• Support other team members in community engagement efforts.
• Engage with diverse community groups to ensure inclusivity.
• Document and report on community engagements and interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Experience

• Previous experience in non-profit or community services is a plus

• Zulu: Conversational
