Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Staff Appraiser to join our team. In this role, you will assess the value of various properties, ensuring accurate appraisal and valuation reports. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of the real estate market.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections and gather relevant data for valuations.
• Analyze data to prepare accurate appraisal reports timely.
• Provide insight on property values and real estate market conditions.
• Communicate findings to clients effectively and persuasively.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Keep precise records of all appraisals conducted.
• Collaborate with different departments to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in the real estate market.
• Strive for customer satisfaction through thorough and fair appraisals.
• Present appraisal reports to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Real Estate or Finance preferred
• Professional certification is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years in real estate appraisal or related field

Technical Skills

• Data analysis

Certifications

• Certified Residential Appraiser
• RICS accreditation (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
