Join our team as a Tax Consultant in Cape Town, where you will leverage your expertise in taxation to assist clients with their tax matters. Your responsibilities will include preparing tax returns, advising on tax strategies, and staying updated on regulatory changes to provide the best advice possible.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and advise on tax deductions and credits.
• Prepare correspondence with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions on tax matters.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on tax-related issues.
• Prepare tax reports and summaries.
• Assist in the development of tax-focused strategies for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management
• Postgraduate in Taxation preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant taxation experience

Technical Skills

• Tax Compliance and Policy
• Financial Analysis

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Client Management

Certifications

• Tax Technician (TT)
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
