Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing mining operations while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and assess mining methods, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Ensure continuous compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Develop training programs for site personnel on safety and environmental practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate closely with executive management on project updates and strategy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Geology, Mineral Resources, or Mining Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a mining environment, focusing on engineering aspects
