Job Description

Mining Solutions Corp. is seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Port Elizabeth. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our mining operations, applying your expertise to design, develop, and implement mining plans and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of surface and underground infrastructure.
• Evaluate and select equipment for mining operations.
• Conduct safety assessments and implement improvement plans.
• Optimize drilling and excavation methods for efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting and cost analysis for mining projects.
• Collaborate with environmental teams to minimize impact.
• Report to senior management on project progress and risks.
• Participate in training and development initiatives for staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mining engineering with managerial experience

Languages
