Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency across various departments, from procurement to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Support demand planning processes by providing insights from supply chain data.
  • Develop training programs for staff to improve supply chain operations.
  • Assist in developing strategic partnerships with logistics providers to enhance service effectiveness.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align supply chain operations with market trends.
  • Prepare and present supply chain performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all supply chain activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • MBA with a focus on Supply Chain Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Inventory Management Systems
Soft Skills
  • Negotiation

Certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
Languages
