Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse operations and manage a diverse team.
• Optimize inventory systems and ensure stock accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Work with logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Manage budgetary constraints and resource allocation.
• Maintain a tidy and efficient warehouse environment.
• Track and report on performance metrics for management.
• Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Continuously seek opportunities for operational enhancement.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in warehouse operations

• Logistics Software
• Forklift Operation

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Warehouse Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of customs regulations: Understanding of import/export regulations and documentation.
• Bilingual skills in Afrikaans: Fluent in Afrikaans preferred for communication with local suppliers.
