Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Medical Technician, you will assist optometrists in delivering high-quality eye care. Your responsibilities will include performing various diagnostic tests, managing patient records, and supporting patients in understanding their eye health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preliminary eye tests and assist in the analysis of results.
  • Educate patients on post-examination care and follow-up procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a system for inventory management.
  • Enhance patient experience through exemplary customer service.
  • Participate in community health programs as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Optometric Assisting certification preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years experience in an optometric setting preferred.
