Responsibilities

• Support clients with personal hygiene and grooming routines.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Help with household chores such as laundry and cleaning.
• Assist in preparing nutritious meals based on client dietary needs.
• Observe and report any significant changes in client health status.
• Facilitate mobility and physical activity to enhance mobility.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality care.
• Provide transportation for clients to appointments and activities.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a Certified Home Health Aide Program

Experience

• Previous experience in healthcare or home care preferred

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with clients in both languages.
• Experience with Disabilities Care: Knowledge of providing care for clients with physical or mental disabilities.
