Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee and lead our construction projects in Cape Town. The successful candidate will ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will manage teams, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and be responsible for implementing project plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules for construction projects.
• Ensure that construction meets design specifications and regulatory compliance.
• Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement among project teams.
• Coordinate with local authorities for permits and inspections.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely material delivery.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
• Resolve conflicts among stakeholders and ensure consensus on project goals.
• Prepare project status reports and present to upper management.
