Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor in our construction team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing projects and managing a dedicated crew of skilled workers. You will ensure that all tasks are completed to high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a background in construction trades.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects and ensure they are executed properly.
  • Manage scheduling and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess work quality and safety compliance.
  • Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Document project milestones and report challenges to management.
  • Implement best practices for safety and efficiency on job sites.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric Certificate or equivalent
  • Diploma in Construction Management or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role with hands-on construction experience
